Outerwear
3 models in this category
Three outerwear patterns: a bomber jacket, a blazer and a trench coat. Outerwear is where fit matters most and where ready-to-wear compromises show, so each model is drafted from your chest or bust, hips, back length, shoulder width, neck and arm length. Options cover the lapel, collar and cuff style, the fit, and a layering allowance for what you plan to wear underneath. The bomber is a medium project in a knit-friendly shape; the blazer and the trench are advanced tailoring with facings and structured collars.
About the Outerwear patterns
Every model in this category is drafted from 7 body measurements: Hip circumference, Back length, Shoulder width, Neck circumference, Arm length, and Chest.
At the sample measurements (height 176 cm, bust 96 cm, waist 78 cm, hips 102 cm) a pattern from this category has from 4 to 6 pieces. The size of every piece for your own body is computed in the creator, and each model page shows the fabric estimate for 140 cm and 110 cm wide fabric.
Sewing difficulty of the models, the same rating that is printed on the pattern cover:
- Medium: Bomber Jacket
- Advanced: Blazer, Trench Coat
Across the whole category there are 15 adjustable style options; 5 of them are choices between named variants, the rest are numeric adjustments in centimetres or simple switches.
A PDF costs from 40 to 60 MTC depending on the construction mode (40, 50 or 60 MTC). The preview of the drafted pattern is free, and every saved pattern can be downloaded again at no cost.
